4. Job Purpose
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting activities. The role focuses on identifying potential customers, understanding their business requirements, and creating a strong sales pipeline for Cloud, Managed Services, and Digital Transformation solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a strong hunting mindset, experience in IT/Cloud sales, and the ability to engage with decision-makers across enterprise and mid-market organizations.
5. Primary Responsibilities

Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and market research.

Identify and engage decision-makers across target accounts.

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Conduct discovery calls to understand customer requirements and qualify opportunities.

Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team.

Research prospect organizations and gather relevant business intelligence.

Drive outbound prospecting activities to create new business opportunities.

Follow up on inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads.

Work closely with Account Managers and Sales teams to convert opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities within CRM.

Track prospect interactions and ensure timely follow-ups.

Experience & Skills
Mandatory Requirements
3 to 4 years of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation, or IT Sales.
Strong experience in Cold Calling, Appointment Setting, and Lead Qualification.
Experience selling IT Services, Cloud Services, Managed Services, or Technology Solutions.
Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, Datacenter, or Cloud technologies.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho or Salesforce.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to achieve lead generation targets.
