Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and API Automation Framework development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for web applications and APIs while ensuring high software quality across releases.
## Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for Web UI, API, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration testing.
- Build and enhance API automation frameworks using Rest Assured, Postman, and TestNG.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and track issues through Jira or equivalent tools.
- Improve test automation coverage and optimize execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality best practices.
## Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Experience in API Automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
- Proficiency with TestNG/JUnit and Maven/Gradle.
- Experience designing automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Page Object Model).
- Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
## Nice to Have
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based testing platforms.
- Basic SQL and database testing experience.
## Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹332,368.52 - ₹1,527,588.90 per year
