A leading 1000-bedded multispecialty hospital in Bachupalli, Hyderabad is looking for an experienced and reliable STP Operator to manage and maintain the sewage treatment plant operations. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in operating STP systems, preferably in large-scale healthcare or institutional settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor all equipment and systems related to the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
- Ensure proper functioning of STP in compliance with environmental and health standards
- Conduct routine checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of STP equipment
- Record operational data, chemical usage, and maintenance logs accurately
- Report any breakdowns or issues to the maintenance department promptly
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the STP premises
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (preferably 10 years for senior roles)
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Environment Engineering (preferred)
- Prior experience in a hospital or industrial STP system is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, pumps, motors, valves, and control panels
- Ability to read technical manuals and handle basic tools and instruments
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts (if required)
