Birbal Senior Machine Learning Engineer (BSMLE)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer who enjoys turning messy data into smart, reliable systems. In this role, you’ll build models that actually ship, scale, and make an impact not just notebooks that never leave Jupyter. You’ll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to solve real business problems using ML and AI.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, train, and deploy machine learning models into production
- Design scalable data and ML pipelines from scratch
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into ML solutions
- Improve model accuracy, performance, and reliability over time
- Monitor deployed models and handle retraining and versioning
- Experiment, iterate, and document your work clearly
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with Python and ML libraries (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Solid understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation, and feature engineering
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
- Familiarity with SQL and data processing workflows
- Ability to write clean, production-ready code
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with MLOps, Docker, CI/CD, or Kubernetes
- Exposure to NLP, Computer Vision, or Recommendation Systems
- Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Startup or product-based company experience
