Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Electrical Manager to lead the electrical maintenance function of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations by planning and executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, statutory compliance, and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team for smooth plant operations.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability with minimum downtime.
- Maintain HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, PCC/MCC panels, VFDs, PLCs, motors, and power distribution systems.
- Monitor and maintain electrical safety standards, including earthing, ELCB/RCCB protection systems, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan annual maintenance schedules and shutdown activities.
- Manage spare parts inventory and optimize maintenance costs.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, factory safety standards, and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical contractors, government authorities, and utility service providers whenever required.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment history, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Train and develop maintenance technicians and electricians.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Additional certifications in Electrical Safety, HT Operations, or Energy Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Experience in Feed, FMCG, Food Processing, Chemical, Cement, Pharma, or Continuous Process Industries is preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
