Role Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Interior and Architecture Design Faculty to train and mentor students in core design concepts, software skills, and portfolio development. The role involves classroom delivery, hands-on studio guidance, and learner support in a skill-focused training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sessions in Interior Design and Architectural fundamentals (space planning, design process, materials, construction basics, lighting, furniture basics, building bye-laws basics as relevant).
- Guide students through studio work, design assignments, and projects with constructive feedback.
- Support portfolio development (drawings, presentations, concept boards, case studies).
- Conduct/assist with assessments, reviews, and student progress tracking.
- Create/update lesson plans, examples, and reference materials aligned to the center’s curriculum.
- Mentor students on industry practices, career pathways, and interview readiness.
- Maintain classroom/studio discipline, quality, and a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong foundation in design thinking, drafting, and visualization.
- Ability to teach and explain concepts clearly to beginners and mixed-skill learners.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Local language proficiency preferred: Kannada / Telugu / Malayalam.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and student-first mindset.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Familiarity with common design tools (as applicable): AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, Photoshop (any subset is fine).
- Basic understanding of interior detailing and site practices.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience (including internships/assisting).
