To operate thermoplastic road marking equipment safely and efficiently for the application of road lines, symbols, pedestrian crossings, arrows, and other pavement markings in accordance with project specifications, authority standards, and safety requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation
- Operate thermoplastic road marking machines and associated equipment.
- Apply thermoplastic road marking materials according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure correct line width, thickness, and alignment during application.
- Operate screed, extrusion, spray, and profile marking systems where applicable.
- Apply glass beads at the required application rate.
Equipment Maintenance
- Conduct daily pre-start and post-operation inspections.
- Monitor burners, kettles, hoses, pumps, and application systems.
- Report equipment defects and maintenance requirements immediately.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Material Handling
- Load thermoplastic material into pre-heaters and kettles.
- Monitor material temperature during heating and application.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of thermoplastic materials and glass beads.
- Minimize material wastage.
Site Execution
- Set out road markings according to approved layouts.
- Coordinate with surveyors, supervisors, and traffic management teams.
- Ensure work areas are properly barricaded and protected.
- Assist in traffic diversion and site safety activities.
Quality Control
- Ensure markings meet project and authority specifications.
- Verify line dimensions, thickness, color, and reflectivity.
- Correct defects and irregularities immediately.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship with minimal rework.
Pay: ₹8,538.09 - ₹30,003.13 per month
