Job Title: Sr Quantity Surveyor (PHE/FF)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for PHE and Fire Fighting systems based on drawings and specifications
- Conduct rate analysis and cost estimation for plumbing, sanitary, and firefighting works
- Review and verify contractor/vendor bills and certify running account (RA) bills
- Carry out measurement and quantity take-offs from approved drawings
- Prepare and evaluate variations, change orders, and claims related to PHE/FF scope
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and site engineers to track work progress against budget
- Conduct cost comparison and benchmarking for PHE/FF materials and labour rates
- Assist in vendor/subcontractor tendering, negotiation, and finalisation for PHE/FF packages
- Maintain documentation for cost control, budgeting, and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, standards, and codes applicable to PHE/FF works
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying for PHE/Fire Fighting systems, preferably in real estate or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of PHE and FF systems, materials, codes, and standards (NBC, NFPA, local fire codes)
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing for MEP/PHE/FF scope
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel; knowledge of QS software (CostX, MS Project, AutoCAD for quantity take-offs) preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
