The Pantry Chef / Fast Food Cook is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of fast food and snack items while maintaining quality, taste, hygiene, and food safety standards. The candidate should be experienced in preparing popular Indian street food and quick-service menu items efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook snacks and fast-food items such as Batata Vada, Vada Pav, Samosa, Mirchi Vada, Pakoda, Bhaji, Misal Pav, Pav Bhaji, Sandwiches, and other menu items.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
- Prepare chutneys, fillings, batters, gravies, and other accompaniments as per standard recipes.
- Maintain food quality and freshness throughout service hours.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist in menu preparation and daily production planning.
- Support smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in a fast-food outlet, snack center, café, QSR, or restaurant.
- Hands-on experience in preparing Indian snacks and street food items.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
