About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Data Annotator to join our AI and Machine Learning team. The ideal candidate should have experience annotating various types of data, including images, videos, text, and audio, while maintaining high accuracy and consistency. You will play a key role in creating high-quality datasets that power AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate and label data such as images, videos, text, audio, and documents according to project guidelines.
- Perform image segmentation, object detection, bounding boxes, polygons, key-point annotation, semantic segmentation, and classification.
- Annotate NLP datasets, including text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition (NER), and intent labeling.
- Review and validate annotated data to ensure quality and consistency.
- Identify annotation errors and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Follow annotation guidelines and maintain project documentation.
- Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and project managers.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain confidentiality of project data.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in data annotation or data labeling.
- Experience with image, video, text, and audio annotation.
- Familiarity with annotation tools such as CVAT, Label Studio, Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, Roboflow, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning and Computer Vision concepts.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OCR annotation and document labeling.
- Knowledge of NLP annotation tasks.
- Experience working on AI/ML datasets.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes for annotated datasets.
- Basic knowledge of Python or Excel for data handling is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Candidates based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand will be preferred.
