Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and verify their identity.
- Review doctor’s orders to understand testing requirements.
- Determining the best method for collecting blood.
- Gathering materials for testing, including needles, vials, and otherequipment.
- Collect blood samples by performing venipunctures and fingersticks.
- Label all samples according to outlined procedures and policies.
- Maintain lab equipment in a clean and safe manner.
- Record tests that were performed and blood samples taken into databases.
- Transport samples in a timely manner and in accordance with outlinedpolicies and procedures.
- Explain tests to patients and answer any questions they might have.
- Evaluating abnormal testing results to determine whether to collectadditional samples.
- Complete all work in accordance with outlined clinic and laboratoryguidelines, and requirements.
What is the profile of the person who will be successful in this role?
- Proficiency in verbal communication – English and Kannada/Hindi.
- Any locallanguage proficiency is an added advantage.
- Qualification: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) / B.Sc.(MLT).
- Experience – 01 year to 2 years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life span growth anddevelopment and the ability to assess data regarding the patient’s status andprovide care.
- Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlinedabove.
- Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan & organize one’s work schedule effectively.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
