Job Summary
We are looking for a Core Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant site experience to manage and supervise electrical works associated with civil construction projects.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical site execution, coordination with civil teams, contractor supervision, quality control, and site inspections. The role requires ensuring that electrical works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project timelines, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical works at the project site.
- Coordinate electrical activities with civil, structural, MEP, and other project teams.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with civil teams for electrical provisions such as conduits, sleeves, cable trenches, earthing pits, equipment foundations, embedded items, and openings.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors and monitor their daily work progress.
- Check the quality of electrical installation and ensure compliance with approved materials and specifications.
- Monitor installation of LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, cable trays, cables, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and related electrical systems, as applicable to the project.
- Coordinate material requirements, inspections, and site approvals.
- Identify electrical/civil coordination issues and support timely resolution.
- Track electrical work progress and ensure activities are completed within the planned schedule.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, checklists, and site records.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors during inspections and approvals.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, electrical safety standards, and HSE requirements.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant site execution experience.
- Experience in electrical works related to civil construction, industrial, commercial, infrastructure, factory, warehouse, or similar projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and site execution.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience in contractor and subcontractor coordination.
- Good understanding of electrical safety and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant IS standards and electrical installation practices.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at a project/site location.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
