About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Pharma & Medical Device Sales Associate to support our business development and sales activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, researching pharmaceutical and medical device tenders, generating leads, finding overseas clients, and supporting management with business growth initiatives.
This position offers excellent exposure to pharmaceutical exports, medical device sales, tender management, and international business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers, distributors, importers, hospitals, healthcare organizations, and business partners worldwide.
- Generate qualified sales leads through online research, databases, trade directories, and business platforms.
- Search, track, and monitor pharmaceutical and medical device tenders from domestic and international markets.
- Prepare lead lists and maintain customer databases.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
- Communicate with prospective clients via email, phone, and online meetings.
- Coordinate with management regarding sales opportunities, client inquiries, and tender submissions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on leads, sales activities, and business development progress.
- Assist in preparing quotations, product information, and business proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of client communications and follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- BA, B.COM, BBA, MBA (Marketing), Diploma Pharm, B.Sc. or related field.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and healthcare markets.
- Understanding of international business and export processes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales of pharmaceuticals online or in Business Development
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong internet research and data collection skills.
- Good typing speed and computer proficiency.
- Experience using email, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and business directories is a plus.
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain organized databases.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Ability to interact professionally with international clients.
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Confidence in handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
