Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, power systems, and control systems in the hospital.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical panels, generators, UPS systems, and transformers.
- Ensure continuous power supply for critical hospital areas such as ICU, OT, laboratories, and emergency departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and power failures quickly.
- Maintain and monitor backup power systems including generators and UPS.
- Assist in energy management and electrical load monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with biomedical engineers during installation of medical electrical equipment.
- Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns immediately.
