Interior Designer Required – Residential House Refurbishment
We are looking for an experienced and creative Interior Designer to assist with the complete refurbishment and interior design of our residential house.
The designer will be responsible for developing the overall design concept, optimizing the available space, preparing detailed drawings and 3D visualizations, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with contractors/vendors during execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for the complete house.
- Prepare efficient space planning and furniture layouts based on our requirements.
- Take and verify site measurements before preparing designs and drawings.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD, including:
- Furniture layouts
- Electrical and lighting layouts
- False ceiling plans
- Flooring layouts
- Wall elevations
- Kitchen and wardrobe details
- Bathroom details
- Custom furniture/joinery drawings
- Create high-quality 3D views and realistic renders using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar software.
- Recommend and help finalize materials, finishes, colours, flooring, lighting, furniture, sanitary fittings and other interior elements.
- Design or provide specifications for custom-made furniture and storage solutions where required.
- Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, vendors and other site teams to ensure the design is executed correctly.
- Conduct site visits during the refurbishment and resolve design/execution issues when required.
- Help obtain and compare vendor quotations and recommend suitable options considering design, quality and budget.
- Ensure the refurbishment remains consistent with the approved design.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Residential Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Excellent design sense with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Good knowledge of 3ds Max and V-Ray Rendering.
- Ability to prepare professional 2D working drawings and 3D visualizations.
- Good understanding of furniture layouts, false ceilings, flooring, lighting and material selection.
- Practical understanding of residential refurbishment and site execution.
- Ability to accurately understand and work with site measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with homeowners, contractors and vendors.
- Ability to work within an agreed budget and timeline.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio is mandatory. We would particularly like to see completed or ongoing residential interior design / house refurbishment projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
