Job Summary:
The DC Design Draftsman will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and layouts related to solar PV DC systems. The role involves supporting the DC Design team in developing module layouts, stringing plans, cable routing drawings, equipment layouts, and other engineering deliverables required for utility-scale solar projects. The incumbent shall ensure that all drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update solar PV DC design drawings, including module layouts, stringing plans, cable routing, and trench layouts.
Develop construction, installation, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
Incorporate design revisions and engineering comments into drawings accurately and on time.
Coordinate with DC Design Engineers and project teams for drawing preparation and updates.
Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and engineering documentation.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and drafting best practices.
Support project execution teams by providing timely design documentation and drawing modifications.
Assist in standardizing drawing templates and improving drafting processes.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Draftsmanship
OR
ITI Draftsman (Electrical/Civil)
AutoCAD (2D)
