We are looking for a well-organised, proactive, and computer-savvy Office Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of our sports organisation. The ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills, strong drafting and content-writing abilities, and good knowledge of MS Office applications. The candidate will be responsible for professional communication, documentation, record management, and coordination with athletes, associations, officials, stakeholders, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth functioning of office activities.
- Draft and manage professional emails, official letters, circulars, notices, reports, and other organisational communications.
- Communicate professionally with athletes, coaches, sports associations, officials, government authorities, stakeholders, sponsors, and partners through email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Maintain proper records, files, databases, registers, and documentation of organisational activities.
- Prepare and maintain documents, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and official correspondence.
- Handle data entry, documentation, scanning, printing, filing, and digital record management.
- Assist in preparing meeting agendas, presentations, minutes of meetings, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain and update Excel sheets and organisational databases as required.
- Assist in event-related administrative work, registrations, travel arrangements, accommodation, logistics, and coordination.
- Ensure timely follow-up on emails, pending tasks, requests, and official communications.
- Support senior management with administrative, documentation, research, and coordination-related work.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure that all important office records and documents are properly organised and securely maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation, and professional communication.
- Excellent email and official correspondence drafting skills.
- Good content-writing skills with the ability to write professional letters, emails, circulars, notices, reports, and other official documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of computers, internet, email platforms, file management, and general office software.
- Strong data entry, documentation, filing, and record-keeping skills.
- Good typing speed and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally through email, WhatsApp, phone, and other digital communication platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in a sports organisation, federation, association, event management company, or administrative role will be an advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be confident in English communication, highly organised, comfortable working on computers, and capable of independently drafting professional emails, letters, circulars, and other official documents. The candidate should also be able to maintain accurate office records and effectively coordinate with different stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
