Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure product labels comply with country-specific regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA, EU, FSSAI, etc.).
- Stay updated on global labeling laws and regulatory changes.
- Assist in obtaining label approvals from regulatory authorities as needed.
Label Review & Development:
- Review product labels, packaging, and artwork for accuracy and compliance.
- Verify ingredient lists, nutrition facts, allergen declarations, and claims (e.g., organic, non-GMO, gluten-free).
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and legal teams to ensure correct label information.
Documentation & Audits:
- Maintain records of label compliance approvals and regulatory submissions.
- Support internal and external audits related to labeling compliance.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to confirm label accuracy.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Provide guidance to design teams on label formatting and mandatory disclosures.
- Educate internal teams on labeling best practices and regulatory updates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in B.S.c / M.S.c -Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in label compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field. In depth knowledge on audit and documentation & In -depth knowledge in jams ,pickles, chikki and other quality processed food.
- Experience with FDA, USDA, CFIA, EU, FSSAI, or other regulatory bodies.
