We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary: As a Planning Engineer at PDC Buildcon, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that projects progress according to plan. Your role will be critical in managing timelines, and resources, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify project progress and ensure adherence to the schedule.
- Analyze project performance data and prepare detailed progress reports for management and clients.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other third parties to align their schedules with the overall project timeline.
- Identify and mitigate project risks by implementing effective planning and scheduling strategies.
- Update and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and resource allocation plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in project planning and scheduling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in project planning and scheduling techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera) is a plus.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
