Job Summary
Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, resource utilization, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned schedule
- Monitor productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency
- Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments
- Optimize manpower, machines, and material utilization
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
- Monitor machine downtime and coordinate with the maintenance team
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
- Lead, train, and develop the production team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and 5S
Qualifications
- B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing industry
