Job Summary
The Bell Desk Associate is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, assisting with luggage handling, escorting guests to their rooms, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the guest's stay. The role plays a key part in creating a positive first and last impression of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude upon arrival.
- Assist guests with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage safely.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel facilities.
- Deliver guest luggage, parcels, newspapers, and other requested items promptly.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
- Arrange taxis and assist with transportation requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell desk, lobby, and luggage storage area.
- Safely store and retrieve guest luggage as required.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, and Concierge to ensure smooth guest service.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Handle guest belongings with the utmost care and confidentiality.
- Report any lost and found items or suspicious activities to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist during VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special events.
- Follow hotel policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent.
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel bell desk or guest service role is an advantage.
- Freshers with a positive attitude may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Courteous, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
- Physical fitness to lift and carry guest luggage.
- Basic English communication; knowledge of Hindi and Malayalam is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions

Location: Kovilakam Residency Pvt. Ltd., Mini Bypass Road, Opposite MIMS Hospital, Govindapuram, Calicut.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
