Key Responsibilities
- Review product requirements and determine applicable US compliance regulations.
- Understand and apply California Proposition 65, FDA, CPSC, ASTM, CPSIA, packaging, labeling, and consumer product regulations.
- Coordinate with Chinese factories, testing laboratories, and suppliers.
- Review artwork, labels, manuals, packaging, and warning statements.
- Track testing timelines and ensure products meet retailer and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze technical documents and identify compliance risks before production.
- Coordinate with internal Product Development and Sourcing teams.
- Prepare compliance reports for management.
- Maintain testing records and product documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of full-time work experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Smart, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Chemistry OR MBA OR equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Experience with consumer products, toys, novelty items, housewares, or packaging.
- Knowledge of:
- California Proposition 65
- FDA regulations
- CPSC
- ASTM standards
- CPSIA
- Packaging & Labeling Compliance
- Experience working with US retailers or international sourcing is a strong advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
