Position: Site Engineer – Electrical Projects
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day site activities related to electrical infrastructure projects.
Execute and monitor works involving:
Electrical distribution networks
Substation construction (33kV to 220kV and above)
Overhead transmission line erection and stringing
Underground (UG) HT & LT cable laying works
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives at site.
Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization.
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Verify measurements, maintain site records, and assist in billing activities.
Identify and resolve site execution issues to avoid project delays.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Good knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
Experience in substation projects (33kV to 220kV or higher).
Knowledge of transmission line erection, tower assembly, and conductor stringing activities.
Experience in HT & LT underground cable laying and termination works.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Knowledge of project execution, quality control, and safety practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Candidates must know the Kannada Language.
Experience:
3–8 years of experience in execution of electrical infrastructure projects such as substations, transmission lines, distribution works, and UG cabling projects.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
