Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, profitability, and leading the restaurant team to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and service staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve guest complaints.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Prepare employee schedules and manage attendance.
- Control inventory, ordering, and stock levels.
- Monitor food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth operations.
- Handle cash, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and training programs.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and safety standards.
- Plan and execute promotions, events, and marketing activities.
- Prepare operational reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Experience managing restaurant teams and daily operations.
