About the Role
Adarsh Group is looking for a disciplined, proactive, and experienced Head Guard to lead the security team at our residential communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, staff, and property, and maintaining high standards of security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of security guards across assigned shifts.
- Ensure effective access control for residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Monitor security operations through CCTV surveillance and regular site patrols.
- Conduct shift briefings and allocate duties to security personnel.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols, SOPs, and company policies.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, grooming, and performance of the security team.
- Handle emergency situations such as fire incidents, medical emergencies, theft, or security breaches with prompt action.
- Prepare and maintain daily occurrence reports, incident reports, visitor records, and shift handover registers.
- Coordinate with the Facility Management, Administration, and Maintenance teams on security-related matters.
- Verify and monitor material movement, delivery vehicles, and contractor entries.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment, fire safety systems, and access control devices.
- Train and mentor security guards on emergency response, customer interaction, and security procedures.
- Investigate incidents and submit detailed reports to the management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency preparedness procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification: PUC / Diploma / Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 8–15 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or Head Guard role.
- Experience in residential townships, gated communities, commercial buildings, hospitality, or facility management is preferred.
- Ex-Servicemen and retired Police personnel are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of security operations, access control, and incident management.
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring, visitor management systems, and security documentation.
- Basic knowledge of fire safety and emergency response procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining reports and records.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in handling a team of 10–30 security personnel.
- Knowledge of first aid and fire safety practices.
- Ability to manage conflicts and respond effectively during emergencies.
