Job Title - Accounting Software Service Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Accounting Software Service Engineer to support installation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance of accounting software solutions for clients in and around Erode. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, software support skills, and good communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure accounting software at client locations and remotely
- Provide user training for accounting and billing software applications
- Troubleshoot software, database, and networking issues
- Handle customer support calls and resolve technical problems promptly
- Perform software updates, backups, and data migration activities
- Coordinate with the internal technical team for issue escalation
- Maintain service reports and client support documentation
- Visit customer sites for implementation and support when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (GST, billing, ledger, inventory, Tally, etc.)
- Familiarity with Windows OS, LAN networking, and database basics
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer-handling abilities
- Ability to travel locally within Erode and nearby areas
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accounting software support or ERP system
- Experience in remote desktop support tools
- Tamil and English communication skills
Experience
- Freshers can apply
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting software support is preferred
Salary
- Based on experience and technical skills
- Travel allowance and performance incentives may be provided
