A Spare Parts Executive manages the entire lifecycle of spare parts, including inventory control, procurement, and distribution to minimize downtime and ensure availability for maintenance or sales. Key responsibilities include auditing stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, processing orders via dealership management systems (DMS), and preparing inventory reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular physical audits, and preventing stockouts or overstocking.
- Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Liaising with OEMs and vendors to order, replenish, and track delivery of parts.
- Order Fulfillment: Processing requests from service teams and customers, including picking, packing, and dispatching parts.
- Documentation & Reporting: Updating inventory records in the management system and generating reports on part usage, sales, and inventory status.
- Customer & Technical Support: Identifying correct parts, handling inquiries, and resolving part-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Identifying ways to reduce costs, improve inventory efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory software (DMS/ERP) and automobile parts.
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience: Usually requires a degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field with proven experience in inventory management.
Pay: ₹19,780.54 - ₹25,259.46 per month
