## Job Summary
Tech Support Engineer (DR Systems) is responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of Flat Panel Detectors and the integration of DR software with hospital networks. Will have to provide high-level technical assistance to on-site field engineers (Dealers) and clinical staff to ensure minimal downtime for critical diagnostic equipment.
## Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Installation & Configuration
- Hardware Integration: Install and configure FPDs (Fixed, Wireless, or Tethered) into existing X-ray gantries or mobile units.
- Software Deployment: Install DR acquisition software, ensuring proper driver communication between the detector and the workstation.
- Calibration: Perform "Gain," "Offset," and "Defect" calibrations to ensure uniform image quality and artifact-free diagnostics.
2. Networking & Connectivity (PACS/DICOM)
- DICOM Integration: Configure DICOM Store, Print, and Modality Worklist (MWL) services.
- Network Troubleshooting: Resolve connectivity issues between the DR workstation and the hospital’s PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) or RIS/HIS.
- Remote Support: Utilize remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk) to diagnose software glitches or database corruption.
3. Advanced Troubleshooting & Repair
- Image Artifact Analysis: Diagnose image quality issues (e.g., lines, ghosting, or noise) to determine if the cause is the detector hardware, X-ray generator, or software processing.
- Hardware Repair: Perform component-level troubleshooting of power supply units, interface boxes, and communication cables.
- RMA Management: Handle the Return Merchandise Authorization process for faulty sensors, ensuring sensors are shipped securely back to the manufacturer.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Regulatory Standards: Ensure all systems comply with radiation safety standards and local healthcare regulations (e.g., AERB ).
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled audits to check detector health, battery life (for wireless units), and workstation performance.

Education
B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or Medical Electronics.
Technical Knowledge
Understanding of X-ray physics, FPD technology (Scintillators, TFT layers), and Dose Management.
IT Skills
Proficiency in Windows OS, DICOM/HL7 protocols, and Networking (TCP/IP).
Soft Skills
Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical medical staff (Radiologists/Technicians).
Experience
1–3 years in Medical Imaging support (X-ray, CT, or Mammography) is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
