YOUR TASKS
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the operations of the assembly, injection molding and various lighting functions efficiently.
- Ensure that all production plans are carried out on time while meeting the desired quality standards.
- Monitor the assembly process and analyze production data to identify and fix inefficiencies.
- Manage the operations involved in injection molding including equipment setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to understand the lighting configuration and appropriate assembly requirements.
- Delegate tasks and supervise the production staff to ensure safety and efficiency in the production process.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are strictly adhered to during all assembly and injection molding operations.
- Manage the production budget and minimize operational expenses while preserving product quality.
- Develop and execute strategies for improving labor and cost efficiencies.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure that the final products meet the company's quality standards.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest production management best practices and concepts in order to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Responsible for staff development, performance appraisals and succession planning.
- Provide reports on production activities and progress to senior management, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Manufacturing, Operation Engineering, or in a related field. An advanced degree or MBA would be a bonus.

Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in Operations /manufacturing operations and proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Experience with various types of manufacturing machinery and tools, and their respective safety measures.

Excellent understanding of quality control standards and statutory regulations.

A good sense of business and financial acumen with a strategic capacity.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as any relevant software and ERP systems.

Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to effectively manage, motivate and inspire a team.

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

Excellent project management abilities with great attention to detail and an eye for efficiency and improvement.

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, ensuring the company complies and takes necessary measures.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing situations.

Resilient with a proven track record in managing the pressures of a busy production line and meeting production schedules on time.
