We are looking for an experienced Garment Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in garment construction, fabrics, and buyer communication within the apparel export industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand buyer comments, tech packs, and specifications accurately.
- Analyze garment construction and provide technical solutions to meet buyer requirements.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, sampling, pattern, and production teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensure garments meet buyer quality standards and fit requirements.
- Suggest improvements in garment construction, fit, and workmanship.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during sampling and pre-production stages.
- Monitor sample development and ensure timely corrections based on buyer feedback.
- Maintain technical documentation and communicate changes effectively across departments.
Required Skills:
- 8–10 years of experience in an apparel export house as a Garment Technician.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching techniques, and apparel manufacturing.
- Excellent understanding of woven fabrics, trims, and garment finishes.
- Ability to read, interpret, and implement buyer comments, tech packs, and measurement charts.
