We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation frameworks, implementing end-to-end test automation, and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications.
The candidate should possess strong programming skills, experience with modern automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile development methodologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Create reusable test components and utilities to enhance framework maintainability.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automated testing.
Web Application Testing
- Validate UI functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and user experience.
- Perform browser compatibility testing across Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve quality issues and improve product stability.
API Testing
- Design and execute automated API tests for RESTful services.
- Validate request/response payloads, authentication, and error handling.
- Perform integration and contract testing for backend services.
- Use tools such as Postman or similar frameworks for API validation.
Framework Development
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript best practices.
- Maintain reusable libraries, test utilities, and reporting modules.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize test execution time through parallel execution and efficient test design.
CI/CD & DevOps
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze automation reports and improve pipeline stability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment validation and release readiness.
Collaboration & Quality Engineering
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
- Review requirements and provide testability feedback during development.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

- Hands-on experience with API testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation or Advanced Level
