Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Computer Science Faculty to deliver technology-based learning programs in schools across Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for teaching computer science concepts, coding, and digital skills through engaging and practical sessions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable travelling to different schools and should have strong communication skills with proficiency in Kannada (mandatory).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct computer science classes, coding sessions, and technology workshops for school students.
- Teach programming fundamentals, computational thinking, and basic computer concepts.
- Deliver interactive and activity-based learning sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and student projects.
- Simplify technical concepts and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Encourage students to develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Coordinate with school teachers and Pi Jam Foundation teams for smooth execution of programs.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Travel regularly to different schools across Bangalore for conducting sessions.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Scratch, Java, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory.
- Ability to interact effectively with school students and teachers.
- Willingness to travel within Bangalore.
- 0–3 years of experience in teaching, training, mentoring, or coding.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and teaching interest are encouraged to apply.
- Passionate about education, technology, and student development.
- Energetic, patient, and creative approach towards teaching.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Comfortable working in a field-based role with multiple school visits.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
