We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PGT English Teacher for Higher Secondary classes (XI & XII) under the Tamil Nadu State Board (Samacheer Kalvi syllabus). The candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English for Classes XI & XII as per Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, unit tests, assignments, and study materials.
- Train students for Higher Secondary Public Examinations.
- Improve students’ grammar, writing, reading, and communication skills.
- Conduct classroom activities, seminars, debates, and literary events.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure effective classroom management.
- Use smart classroom tools and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Participate in school meetings, academic planning, and co-curricular activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.A. English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in handling State Board Higher Secondary classes is an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Knowledge of Samacheer Kalvi syllabus and public exam pattern preferred.
