We specialise in Litho, Digital and Wide Format printing, supplying a wide range of commercial print and packaging solutions to businesses across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Print Estimator to join our team on a fully remote basis, working from India during UK working hours.
The Role
As a Print Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of print work.
You will be working remotely and accessing our UK-based computer systems through TeamViewer, using our Tharstern estimating software.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial printing processes and be confident estimating jobs from customer specifications, artwork requirements and production information.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive print estimates using Tharstern
- Estimate a variety of print jobs, including Litho, Digital and Wide Format
- Understand print specifications, including:
- Paper and board stocks
- Sizes and quantities
- Litho and digital processes
- Finishing requirements
- Folding, creasing and cutting
- Binding
- Laminating and other finishing processes
- Packaging and bespoke print
- Review customer/job specifications and determine the most efficient production method
- Liaise with the UK team to clarify specifications and requirements
- Ensure estimates are accurate and commercially viable
- Work efficiently to meet quotation deadlines
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail
Essential Experience
You MUST have:
- Proven professional experience as a Litho / Offset Print Estimator
- Strong knowledge of commercial Lithographic printing
- Strong understanding of Offset printing
- Previous experience producing print quotations
- Good understanding of print production and finishing
- Experience with Tharstern or similar estimating/print management software
- Ability to work independently and manage workload remotely
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to communicate in Hindi
- Ability to work UK working hours
- A reliable, high-specification computer suitable for remote working
- Dual-screen setup is preferable
- Your own TeamViewer licence
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Backup generator/UPS to ensure you can continue working during power cuts
Working Hours
You will be required to work UK working hours, Monday to Friday.
This is a fully remote position based in India, with access to Printank's systems via TeamViewer.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who already understands the printing industry and can hit the ground running.
This is not a trainee estimating position. You should be comfortable receiving a print specification and working out the appropriate production method, materials, processes and costs to produce an accurate quotation.
