About the Role
As an HR Intern at IdeaClap, you will support the recruitment, screening, and onboarding of talent for our India-facing operations and global team. You will source candidates, conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and help build HR processes from the ground up. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the people function of a fast-growing US-based tech company — with direct exposure to hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates for open roles at IdeaClap using LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, and other platforms
- Screen applications and resumes — shortlist candidates based on defined criteria
- Conduct initial HR screening calls with candidates to assess fitment, availability, and interest
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and the hiring team
- Manage candidate communication — send interview invites, confirmations, offer letters, and onboarding documents
- Maintain a structured Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or candidate database in Google Sheets
- Support the onboarding process for new interns and team members — documentation, introductions, and orientation
- Draft and post job descriptions on job portals and social media platforms
- Assist in creating HR policies, internship agreements, and process documentation
- Coordinate with the founding team on headcount planning and hiring priorities

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in MBA (HR), BBA (HR), or any management/humanities program final year or recently graduated
- Strong interest in human resources, recruitment, and people management
- Excellent written and spoken English — professional communication is essential for Hiring.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace — especially Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable internet connection and a personal laptop/computer
- Prior exposure to LinkedIn Recruiter or job portals is a plus but not mandatory
