Role: Intern: Content Writer & Editor
We are developing a number of products related to Indian philosophy based on the knowledge encapsulated in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Gita.
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content Writer & Editor Intern who is passionate about storytelling, Indian philosophy, mythology, and creating meaningful content for children and young audiences.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop creative and engaging content in English for books, blogs, educational material, websites, and social media platforms
- Research concepts, stories, and references from Indian philosophy, mythology, Vedas, Upanishads, and the Gita using authentic sources.
- Adapt tone, language, and structure for different age groups and audience segments.
- Assist in creating content for marketing materials including posters, brochures, captions, landing pages, and video descriptions.
- Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, grammatical accuracy, and quality standards
- Format manuscripts and maintain content tracking using MS Word and MS Excel.
- Use AI tools for content research, editing, ideation, and productivity enhancement.
Key Requirements
- Strong command over English (reading, writing, and editing).
- Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong research and fact-verification abilities.
- Interest in Indian philosophy, mythology, spirituality, and educational content.
- High attention to detail and consistency in tone and language.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in writing blogs, scripts, educational or spiritual content.
- Understanding of content creation for digital and social media platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
- Interest in children’s education and storytelling
