Job Description – Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Consultant (AWS, SageMaker Unified Studio & Life Sciences)
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect / Technical Program Lead to drive large-scale VMware migration initiatives to Nutanix NC2 on AWS environments. This role will act as the primary technical lead throughout the engagement lifecycle, collaborating closely with customer stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams from initial assessment and solution design through implementation, transition, and post-migration stabilization.
Key Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
Extensive hands-on expertise with VMware technologies and Nutanix NC2 platforms.
Demonstrated success in managing enterprise migration programs, covering assessment, planning, execution, cutover, and stabilization phases.
Strong knowledge of migration methodologies, including application dependency mapping, wave planning, transition strategies, cutover management, and risk mitigation.
Experience architecting and deploying Nutanix NC2 solutions within AWS environments.
Solid understanding of virtualization technologies, networking concepts, storage architecture, security frameworks, disaster recovery strategies, and hybrid cloud ecosystems.
Ability to communicate effectively with customer architects, senior technical leaders, and executive stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication capabilities.
Proven track record of delivering comparable migration projects for large-scale enterprise organizations, ideally within globally recognized companies.
