Business Development Manager / Sales Lead – IT Products
Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Lead to lead
and scale our B2B product sales team targeting global markets. The ideal candidate will
manage a team of Business Development Executives responsible for outbound lead
generation, product demos, and deal closures.
This role requires strong experience in SaaS / IT product sales, team leadership, outbound
sales strategy, and revenue target ownership. The Sales Lead will be responsible for
building a strong pipeline, mentoring the team, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring
consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with modern sales tools including Upwork,
Zoho CRM, Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and outbound sales
platforms, while working closely with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market
strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Revenue Ownership
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives responsible
for outbound sales and product demos.
Own team-level monthly and quarterly revenue targets, ensuring consistent
bookings and pipeline growth.
Monitor individual and team performance through qualified meetings, pipeline
value, conversions, and bookings.
Conduct weekly sales reviews, pipeline reviews, and strategy sessions with the team.
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, learning, and
continuous improvement.
Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management
Design and implement outbound sales strategies across multiple platforms
including Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lusha, and other prospecting
tools.
Develop scalable lead generation and outreach frameworks for global B2B markets.
Analyze conversion rates across the sales funnel and optimize outreach, demos, and
closing strategies.
Deal Support & Enterprise Sales
Support team members in high-value deals, negotiations, and enterprise sales
opportunities.
Participate in strategic product demos and key client discussions.
Guide the team through complex sales cycles including scoping, solutioning, pricing,
and negotiation.
Ensure smooth transition from sales to onboarding and customer success.
Collaboration with Marketing & Product Teams
Work closely with marketing to design targeted campaigns and messaging for
outbound outreach.
Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to
product teams.
Help refine value propositions, sales collateral, and demo narratives.
CRM, Reporting & Sales Operations
Ensure strict CRM discipline and pipeline visibility across the team.
Track and analyze key sales metrics including pipeline value, win rates, deal
velocity, and revenue performance.
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to leadership with actionable insights.
Must-Have Skills
6–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS or IT product sales, including team leadership
experience.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in global markets.
Strong expertise in outbound sales, lead generation, and sales funnel management.
Hands-on experience with product demos and complex B2B sales cycles.
Experience using sales tools such as Upwork, Zoho CRM, Apollo, Lusha, LinkedIn
Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and outbound automation tools.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills.
Good to Have Skills
Experience managing remote or hybrid sales teams targeting international markets.
Ability to build sales playbooks, outbound frameworks, and scalable sales
processes.
Experience selling SaaS platforms, IT solutions, or digital products.
Data-driven mindset with strong pipeline analytics and forecasting skills.
Education Required
Graduate: B.Tech / B.E. / BCA
Preferred: MBA / MCA / M.Tech / MS
