Job Description – Restaurant Store In-Charge
Position: Store In-Charge / Storekeeper

Job Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the restaurant store.
- Receive, check and store food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials and other supplies.
- Verify quantity, quality, expiry dates and specifications of incoming materials.
- Maintain proper stock records and inventory reports.
- Issue materials to the kitchen and other departments as per authorized requisitions.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO methods to minimize expiry and wastage.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory with records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare purchase/reorder requirements.
- Coordinate with purchase team and suppliers for timely deliveries.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRN, invoices, stock issue and return records.
- Monitor food wastage, damaged goods and expired stock.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, cleanliness and hygiene of the store.
- Maintain separate records for food, beverages, packaging and non-food items.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports for management.
- Support food-cost and inventory-control activities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality store.
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good understanding of FIFO/FEFO and food storage practices.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/POS software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Honest, responsible and organized.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends and holidays.
