Job Summary:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling guest booking requests, ensuring accurate reservations, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves managing room inventory, responding to inquiries, and maximizing occupancy and revenue through effective sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all reservation requests via phone, email, online platforms, and walk-ins
- Provide accurate information about room types, rates, packages, and availability
- Process bookings, modifications, and cancellations efficiently
- Maintain updated records in the reservation system
- Coordinate with front office, housekeeping, and sales teams for smooth operations
- Upsell rooms, packages, and additional services to maximize revenue
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve booking-related issues
- Monitor room availability and ensure optimal occupancy
- Prepare daily reservation reports and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
