About the Role
This is a hands-on shop-floor engineering role. You will keep the plant's machinery, utilities and infrastructure running — leading preventive and predictive maintenance, attacking breakdowns fast, and driving out recurring failures through real root-cause work. You'll work on the equipment that makes copper tube — extrusion, drawing, annealing, finning and finishing lines and their utilities — and own the reliability of what you look after. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery and utilities.
- Attend breakdowns promptly; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control-system issues.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to stop recurring failures.
- Monitor reliability, availability, downtime, MTBF and MTTR and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain PM schedules, work orders, checklists, breakdown reports and equipment history.
- Identify critical spares, maintain levels and coordinate with Stores/Purchase for timely procurement.
- Maintain plant utilities — compressors, pumps, cooling/water systems, electrical systems and supporting equipment.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification, upgrading and reliability-improvement projects.
- Coordinate with Production, technicians, electricians and fitters for timely maintenance.
- Supervise contractors, vendors and AMC providers; ensure quality completion of work.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and ensure proper shift handover.
- Ensure PPE, safety, statutory and environmental compliance in all maintenance work; join safety inspections and toolbox talks.

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation.
Experience
2–6 years in plant/production maintenance in a manufacturing or process industry.

Requirement level: Basic user — Preferred
Familiarity with logging work orders and spare consumption in an ERP is useful; Business Central exposure is preferred but not mandatory — the role can learn on the job.
