Key ResponsibilitiesSearch Engine Optimization
- Plan, implement, and manage on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content according to SEO best practices.
- Improve website indexing, crawling, and search engine visibility.
Technical SEO
- Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to website performance.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, and broken links.
- Coordinate with the development team for technical SEO implementation.
Content Optimization
- Work closely with content writers and designers to create SEO-friendly content.
- Optimize blogs, landing pages, product pages, category pages, and service pages.
- Develop content strategies based on search trends and user intent.
Off-Page SEO
- Build high-quality backlinks using ethical white-hat SEO techniques.
- Manage business listings, citations, guest posting, outreach campaigns, and link-building activities.
- Monitor backlink profiles and remove harmful or spam links.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, and SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
- Track conversions, organic traffic growth, and ROI.
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, designers, and marketing teams to implement SEO recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
- Suggest improvements for website usability, user experience, and conversion optimization.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.
- Experience with Technical SEO and website audits.
- Excellent keyword research and competitor analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Business Profile
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Ubersuggest, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and website structure.
- Experience with WordPress and custom PHP websites.
- Knowledge of XML Sitemap, Robots.txt, Schema Markup, Canonical Tags, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with Local SEO, eCommerce SEO, and SEO for service-based websites.
- Understanding of website speed optimization and SEO best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with eCommerce SEO (Shopify, WooCommerce, Custom PHP, Magento, etc.).
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and basic PPC concepts.
- Basic understanding of social media optimization (SMO).
- Experience working with AI tools for content research and optimization.
- Ability to perform SEO audits and prepare detailed improvement reports.
