Job Summary
We are seeking qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacists to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the procurement, storage, inventory management, quality control, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, laboratory products, and medical consumables while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and organizational standards. The role requires a strong commitment to product quality, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, laboratory products, medical devices, and healthcare consumables in accordance with Good Storage Practices (GSP).
- Ensure proper inventory management, including stock monitoring, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
- Track batch numbers, expiry dates, storage conditions, and product quality to ensure compliance and minimize wastage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for procurement, stock movement, and product distribution.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted availability of healthcare and laboratory products.
- Conduct periodic stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations, applicable healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
- Monitor storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and regulated products.
- Support product quality assurance by reporting discrepancies, damaged goods, or non-conforming products.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse and storage areas.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfilment of product requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
- Freshers as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, laboratory products, and healthcare consumables.
- Understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and storage protocols.
- Familiarity with Good Storage Practices (GSP), regulatory compliance, and inventory documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare supply chain environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital pharmacy, medical stores, laboratory supply management, healthcare distribution, or inventory operations.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, stock control, and supply chain management.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.
