Role Overview
The CPT Helper will assist the CPT Rig Operator in conducting field investigations by supporting equipment setup, testing operations, maintenance activities, and site logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mobilization and demobilization of CPT equipment and accessories.
- Support rig positioning, leveling, anchoring, and stabilization activities.
- Handle CPT rods, cones, cables, and other testing accessories during operations.
- Assist with cable connections, sensor handling, and routine equipment checks.
- Support loading and unloading of equipment, tools, and materials.
- Assist in cleaning, maintenance, and storage of testing equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization at the worksite.
- Follow all safety instructions and use required PPE at all times.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 8th Pass / 10th Pass.
- Prior experience in field work, construction, drilling, or laboratory operations will be an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor conditions.
- Basic mechanical understanding preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Awareness of workplace safety practices.
