Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage day-to-day production activities, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and coordinate effectively with the Production, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timelines.
- Supervise and coordinate with production operators and workers.
- Monitor production processes and identify operational issues.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, tools, and materials.
- Maintain production records, reports, and daily MIS.
- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams for timely availability of raw materials.
- Coordinate with Quality team to maintain required quality standards.
- Monitor rejection, rework, wastage, and productivity.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and efficiently.
- Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
