Job Summary
We are looking for a Material Follow-up / Stores Executive to coordinate material requirements, supplier follow-up, inward materials, inventory records, and timely availability of materials for production and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers for material availability and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Projects, and Design teams.
- Prepare and maintain material requirement and pending material lists.
- Track Purchase Orders and ensure materials are received on time.
- Regularly update material status reports.
- Check incoming materials against PO / invoice / delivery challan.
- Coordinate material inspection with the concerned department.
- Maintain proper GRN, stock, inward and outward records.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and identify material shortages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP / Excel.
- Coordinate material issue to production and project teams.
- Follow up on pending, shortage, damaged, or rejected materials.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of material-related records.
- Support stock verification and physical inventory activities.
- Communicate material delays and shortages to the concerned departments.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of materials.
- Prepare daily/weekly material follow-up and stock reports.
Required Skills
- Good communication and supplier follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of Stores / Inventory / Purchase processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to maintain material records accurately.
- Good coordination and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with production and project teams.
- Basic understanding of engineering/manufacturing materials is preferred.
Experience
Fresher (0–1 Year):
- Basic Excel and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn Stores and Material Management.
- Diploma/Degree candidates can apply.
Experienced (1–5 Years):
- Experience in Stores / Material Follow-up / Purchase / Inventory.
- Manufacturing or engineering industry experience preferred.
- Experience in ERP and Excel will be an advantage.
