Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As an experienced Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Provide advanced technical support for the Data protection solutions and related components—serving as a primary escalation point for complex issues.
- Own the overall health, scalability, and security of data protection solution, driving continuous improvement and proactive risk mitigation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ruleset deployment, agent synchronization and triaging.
- Mitigate identified risks by upgrading solutions to the latest secure versions.
- Support day-to-day operations including health checks, alert triage, identifying potential risks, and reporting findings to clients.
- Architect and implement automated monitoring, alerting, and remediation solutions to minimize downtime and streamline support operations.
- Ensure data protection solution compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements, prepare audit documentation, and address any identified gaps.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT leaders, translating technical insights into actionable recommendations for service improvement.
- Support onboarding and training of new users and junior staff, helping adhere to data protection solutions and guidelines.
- Analyze alerts and service request trends, recommending and implementing process improvements to reduce recurring issues, false positives and enhance service quality.

We deliver skilled talent, cutting-edge technologies, and robust processes to operate client data protection, privacy and digital trust capabilities. Our flexible and modularized methodology has been utilized by numerous global organizations to build a broad global privacy, data protection, and/or digital trust operations and includes the following phases and activities.
- Incident response
- Ongoing program improvement
- Data lifecycle management
- Policy fine-tuning
- Ongoing program metrics, monitoring, and reporting
- Automation enabling
Cyber Data Operate team focuses on efficiently running operations by enabling automation, reducing manual effort and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the standards set by clients.
Qualifications:
Must have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- 5 – 10 years of experience in advanced technical support and operational leadership for Data Protection solutions.
- Expertise in troubleshooting, risk mitigation, and solution upgrades.
- Experience architecting automated monitoring and remediation solutions.
- Strong compliance and audit documentation skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and train junior staff.
Good to have skills/ Project experience/ Certifications:
- Experience with process optimization and service improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud security.
- Certification: CISM or equivalent Security certifications (Azure / AWS / GCP), Vendor level certificate (Varonis / Netskope / BigID / Imperva / Secuirti.ai / Zscaler / Symantec / Forcepoint etc.)
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
Location:
- Bengaluru/ Hyderabad/ Pune/ Chennai
Shift Timings:
- Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday coverage is essential.
- Must be willing to work 24*7 rotational shifts
