Yantra 24x7 (Profimax Digiconnect Pvt. Ltd.) builds IoT-driven industrial automation platforms and smart manufacturing solutions. Our Yantra software suite powers real-time machine monitoring, OEE dashboards, downtime analytics, and production intelligence for manufacturing clients across India. You will be building the software that runs on factory floors — which means your code actually matters.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, build, and maintain web applications and APIs that form the backbone of Yantra's industrial IoT platform. You will work across the stack — from crafting responsive React frontends to building robust Node.js APIs and managing PostgreSQL databases. You will collaborate with the product, hardware, and implementation teams to ship features that directly impact client operations.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web dashboards using React.js for real-time machine data visualisation, OEE tracking, and production analytics
- Develop reusable UI components, custom hooks, and state management flows using Redux / Context API
- Implement real-time data rendering using WebSockets or Socket.io for live machine monitoring views
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and performance optimisation of all frontend modules
- Collaborate with UX requirements to translate wireframes and product specs into pixel-accurate interfaces
Backend Development
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js (Express / Fastify) to serve frontend applications and IoT data pipelines
- Implement authentication and authorisation — JWT, OAuth2, role-based access control (RBAC)
- Build data ingestion pipelines that receive, parse, and store machine data from IoT gateways and edge devices
- Develop background jobs, schedulers, and event-driven workflows using Node.js worker threads or queue systems (Bull, RabbitMQ)
- Write clean, tested, well-documented API code with proper error handling and logging
Database & Data Layer
- Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas for multi-tenant SaaS architecture — time-series data, production logs, machine metadata, and user management
- Write optimised SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexes for high-throughput IoT data environments
- Implement database migrations, seeding, and version control using tools like Knex.js or Prisma
- Work with time-series data patterns — partitioning, archival strategies, and query optimisation for large datasets
Integration & DevOps
- Integrate third-party APIs — ERP systems, notification services (email/SMS/push), and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
- Participate in code reviews, maintain Git hygiene, and follow CI/CD best practices using GitHub Actions or similar
- Containerise applications using Docker and support deployment on cloud or on-premise Linux servers
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement fixes with minimal downtime
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Node.js — Express.js or Fastify, REST API design
- React.js — Hooks, Redux/Context, component architecture
- PostgreSQL — schema design, complex queries, indexing
- JavaScript / ES6+ — async/await, promises, modules
- Git — branching, PRs, code review workflow
- HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design
- Understanding of REST and WebSocket communication
Good to Have
- TypeScript (frontend and backend)
- Docker / Docker Compose
- Socket.io for real-time data streaming
- Redis — caching and session management
- MQTT protocol (IoT data ingestion)
- AWS / Azure cloud fundamentals
- Grafana or similar dashboarding tools
Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics — mandatory
- Strong project portfolio demonstrating full-stack work will be prioritised over years of experience
- Open-source contributions or personal projects with Node.js + React + PostgreSQL are a major plus
