Job Description – Laptop Repair / Laptop Service / Network Support EngineerPosition:IT Support Engineer / Laptop Service Engineer / Network Support ExecutiveExperience:4–7 YearsJob Location: Coimbatore or RemoteKey Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop/Desktop hardware issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac).
- Repair hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, keyboard, display, battery, etc.
- Handle software installation, driver updates, antivirus setup, and system formatting.
- Troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain LAN/Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and printers.
- Provide remote and onsite technical support to employees/users.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and service records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and warranty support.
- Support employee onboarding with system setup and email configuration.
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets and technical issues.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of laptop/desktop troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with Windows OS installation and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and firewall settings.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools and remote support tools.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Certifications like CCNA, Hardware & Networking, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple issues.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
