Job Summary
We ( eGlu Smart Homes ) are seeking a Installation engineer to join our team . A Smart Home Installation Engineer installs, programs, maintains, and troubleshoots smart home systems. The role combines traditional electrical work with modern automation technologies to deliver safe, efficient, and user-friendly smart home solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and wire home automation systems, including smart lighting, switches, sensors, and control panels
- Configure and integrate smart devices such smart plugs , smart curtain and lighting devices
- Program and test automation systems to ensure proper functionality
- Read and interpret electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and automation layouts
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation system faults
- Integrate automation systems with mobile apps and central control hubs
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards
- Perform system upgrades, maintenance, and software updates
- Coordinate with project managers, Support teams, and other stake holders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Technology or related field
- 0- 5 year Experience with residential electrical wiring and installations
- Ability to read technical diagrams and system schematics
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Optional Skills:
- Basic knowledge of home automation systems and smart technologies
- Basic knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi configuration, and IP-based systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Electrician (as required by local regulations)
Working Conditions
- Residential project sites (new construction and renovations)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
